Quem é que não gosta de histórias? Eu gosto, ainda mais aquelas que minha mãe e minha vó me contavam. Eu lembro que, quando aprendi a ler, ganhei um daqueles livros com fábulas e contos e fiquei lendo de frente pra trás, de trás pra a frente, de cabeça pra cima e de cabeça pra baixo! E aquela história de ter uma lição no final? Eu sempre achei que era uma coisa que a gente tivesse que ficar pensando e pensando depois que lia, até descobrir que o que a gente aprende nas fábulas e contos acompanha a gente pra vida inteira. E é mais ou menos disso que o livro do Pedro Bandeira fala...

"A hora do desconto" é só um dos livros que ele escreveu sobre fábulas, e você vai achar muitos mais por aí! Mas esse é um pouquinho diferente dos outros: ao invés de criar novas fábulas, ele reconta fábulas antigas e comenta sobre elas no fim de cada uma.
